The Mountain Model for Evidence-Based Practice Quality Improvement (EBPQI) Initiatives - Online Course
This webinar introduces the first conceptual model for Evidence-Based Practice Quality Improvement (EBPQI) initiatives. The mountain model couples modern EBP and QI paradigm principles into a unified conceptual framework for all nurses with the summative goal of disseminating and sustaining EBPQI across health care and related settings.
This course will retire after 3rd November 2026.
Learning Outcomes:
After participating in this course, learners will be able to:
- Describe how the mountain model differs from other evidence-based practice (EBP) and quality improvement (QI) frameworks
- Generate a rationale statement for the need to disseminate EBPQI initiatives to shorten the research to practice gap
- Develop examples of how you might apply the mountain model in your current role as a nurse
