This course teaches nurses to effectively and professionally use social media tools as a way to educate, advocate, collaborate, and communicate.

About the Author:
Pamela Ressler, MS, RN, HN-BC is an early adopter of social media. Ms. Ressler continues to be an innovator in the field of social media in health care. Her current research interests include communicating the experience of illness through patient blogging and the use of social media as a means of increasing patient engagement in their health. She is a lecturer at the University of Massachusetts Boston College of Nursing and Health Sciences and an adjunct faculty member at the Tufts University School of Medicine’s Pain Research, Education and Policy Program.
