Learning to Be Bold: A Nurse's Story About Global Environmental Health Research - Online Course
This session will highlight global health research related to conservation and sustainability, focusing on air pollution and interventions to improve the health and livelihoods of people living in low resource settings. The session will provide guidance to nurses about how to enact change through bold actions to ensure planetary health.
This course will retire after 30th November 2026.

Lisa M. Thompson, PhD, RN, FNP-BC, MS, FAAN Dr. Thompson is an environmental health scientist who studied the impact of indoor cook stoves on birth outcomes globally. She has broad interest in the impacts of climate change on human health.
