Susan E. Lowey, PhD, RN, CHPN, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing at the State University of New York College of Brockport. For more than 25 years she has worked as a clinician, researcher, and educator focusing on improving care for patients at the end of life. She is presented her work at numerous national professional conferences and in healthcare publications.
